2.
IMPORTANT!!! -- Final Task for 2004!  PLEASE  vote on November 23 for state wide Court of Appeals Judge!

It has come to our attention in the last few days that many people do not realize we have a runoff election on November 23, 2004, for the statewide Court of Appeals Race. Please help us get the word out about this election and support conservative Debra Bernes. She is from Cobb County and in my opinion the best candidate for the position. FYI her opponent, Howard Mead, has been endorsed by the Democratic Party in Georgia and specifically former Democrat Governor Roy Barnes. This should tell everyone where he stands on the issues.  If you have questions regarding Debra feel free to contact her or Kristin Callaway below. Remember early voting the week of November 15-19th.
Click here to read more about Debra Bernes. . .

Please get the word out to your Republican Party membership in your county. Did you know that most of the counties in the 10th district had a majority vote for the Democrat Howard Mead in the November 2 election???  How can this be in such a conservative Republican district? It appears that the word just did not get out in this "nonpartisan" election. No doubt the turnout will be small this time since in many counties this will be the only item on the ballot. Just remember that we need more conservative judges in these most important slots. While our 10th District does not endorse candidates in nonpartisan campaigns, we did want you to know the party affiliation of these two candidates.

3. Report from our 10th District Road Warrior, Doug Grammer
Doug was part of the many Republican volunteers who went to battleground states in the final 72 hours before the November 2 election to go door to door and work to help get out the vote for President Bush. Doug was sent to Wisconsin and has some very interesting information to share with us. Read entire report. . .

THE LIVING BUDGET:

The state revenue decline over the last several years has reversed.  Georgia should end this fiscal year with more state funds than last year. This would be the first increase since 2001, although the population has increased each of every year.  The revenues, though, will be less per Georgian after accounting for the increased overall state population and deducting for increased Medicaid consumption and direct costs associated with public school population growth.   Read more. . .
