5. Republican National Convention - August 30 - September 2, 2004
The 10th District will be well represented at the upcoming National Convention in New York. All nine of our delegates and alternates will be leaving on August 28 to fly to the Big Apple to participate in the once in a lifetime experience of helping to nominate President George W. Bush for reelection as President and Vice President Dick Cheney as Vice President. Read more about this on the Daily Diary web page which Bettye Chambers has set up for the convention. Daily events and photos will be posted on this page each day during the convention. The 10th District does have the unique combination of a mother and son attending as alternate delegates -- our own Judy and Doug Grammer.
Visit the GOP Convention web site at www.gopconvention.com and stay informed on the convention proceedings. Click here to view Georgia's daily diary page on the convention web site. View map page for accessing diaries from other states.
