9th District Official Meeting Call  May 17, 2008

From: Chairman Kevin Harris   To: Ninth District Committee Members  There are two vacancies that have been announced on our District Committee. Brad Scott, 2nd Vice Chair, has resigned to run for State Representative House District 3. Bob Rodriguez will be running for Magistrate Judge in Whitfield County. We wish them much success in their endeavors. In accordance with Sections 2.1 C and 2.5 A of the Ninth District Republican Party Rules, a 9th District GOP Committee meeting is scheduled for Saturday, May 17, at 9:00 am at the Columbus Civic Center (location of the State Convention).  The room number for the meeting will be sent shortly.  The official meeting call, Proposed Agenda, and Proxy Form are provided below.   There are three specific  purposes of the meeting: 1. To fill the unexpired term of Bob Rodriguez for State Committee. 2. To fill the unexpired term of Brad Scott, 2nd Vice Chair. 3. To approve distribution of funds for the 2008 Road to Victory Banquet. This will be a BRIEF meeting with no other business to be discussed. If you or someone you know is interested in one of the vacancies, please let District Chair Kevin Harris or Secretary Sally Forest know as soon as possible. Please feel free to let interested individuals in your county know of the vacancies. Again, this meeting should take no more than 20 minutes.
