Women's Outreach
Linda Herren, Georgia's National Committeewoman, spoke at the Saturday afternoon session on Women's Outreach. She updated us on a number of issues of special interest to women who cast 54% of the votes in the last national election in 2004. In Georgia 62% of registered voters are women, and women vote more frequently than men. About 25 - 30% of the senior staffers on President Bush's team are women. A 2004 Women's Vote map was distributed which indicated the women's vote in each state which was very impressive

Voter Vault Training Session - Saturday
Chad Barth, Republican National Committee
A room of laptop computers was used for hands on training to learn about the latest technology for locating precincts and pinpointing Republican voters and potential Republican voters. You click on your state, county and precinct to discover a wealth or useful material that previously required tons of paper and many hours of searching. Passwords and user names to access this software will be furnished to County and District Chairs who have received the training. This will prove invaluable in the 2006 upcoming elections. This massive database holds info on millions of voters, and is used to get people to the polls. It contains records on an estimated 168 million voters and was used successfully by Republican parties in a number of states in the 2004 election.
