Summer Picnic 2005
Lee Newton Park - Jasper
Midi music: Summer Time Blues
On August 6, 2005, the District 10 Summer Picnic once again lived up to its 12-year reputation of being the great summer event. Everyone enjoyed Republican fellowship with friends, great music, delicious Col. Oscar Poole barbeque and great speeches.
Gus Pries, Pickens GOP Vice Chairman, announced that this was the largest picnic ever with 175 attending. Many thanks to Gus, Lurlene Argo (Pickens Chairman) and all the member of the Pickens Republican Party for all of their hard work in putting together such a wonderful event in the Pickens County Chamber of Commerce Building at Lee Newton Park in Jasper.
